Simeon Wong has participated in the world of theater since 2021, with the Saint Mary’s spring productions of Footloose, Grease, Mean Girls, and The Wizard of Oz, as well as the fall production of The Great Gatsby. He has mostly done acting work, but he has also been involved behind the scenes, working as a stagehand, and also directing work. At Saint Mary’s he directed a read-through of the platy In a Grove: Four Japanese Ghost Stories, in charge of casting and working with actors. At the American Conservatory Theater, he was the Assistant Music Director for the YC production of Hadestown, primarily doing administrative work for the music department, while also developing audio tracks for use in performances and substituting for the Music Director when needed.
